Granite State Woodwind Quintet
                                           
Formed in 2005, the Granite State Woodwind Quintet performs in southern New Hampshire and nearby Massachusetts and Maine.  The Quintet plays a variety of music, including standard classical woodwind quintet repertoire, light classical arrangements, pops selections, and holiday favorites.  We are available to play concerts, receptions, weddings, and celebrations of all kinds.  

                              
                                  The members of the group are:

Donna Park, oboe
   Donna teaches music in the Manchester (New Hampshire) Public Schools and teaches oboe privately.  She received her B. S. in Music Education from the University of Maine
at Orono.  Donna has studied oboe with Dr. Louis Hall, Burt Lucarelli , and John Deloughy.

David Howard, flute
   David is retired from his first (non-musical) career and now enjoys music and the flute full time.  He plays flute with Flutissimo Flute Duo and the Windham Concert Band, directs the Windham Flute Ensemble, and teaches privately. David has a B. A. degree in Music History from Yale University and an M. A. in Musicology from Smith College.

Barbara Desmarais, clarinet
    Barbara is the data systems manager at New Hampshire  Audubon.  She earned a B. S. in Music Education and Mathematics from Mount Senario College in Ladysmith, Wisconsin and did graduate work in music a
t the University of Southern Mississippi.  Her teachers include Dr. David McClune (clarinet), Wilbur Moreland (clarinet) and Dr. Lawrence Gwozdz (saxophone). 

Brad Morse, bassoon

   Brad is an alumnus of Shenandoah Conservatory of Music in Winchester, VA where he studied Music Education.  He is retired from the U. S. Air Force  where he was a member of the Air Force Band System.  Brad has performed throughout the Pacific Northwest, Europe, and New England.  He currently plays with the Merrimack Valley Philharmonic and is a freelance bassoonist throughout New England.  

Tara Rousselle, horn
  Tara is a Health Unit Coordinator at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester.  She earned her B. A. degree in Psychology from Keene State College and is pursuing her Master of Education in Counseling.  Tara studied French horn with Becky Robinson and has played with the Nashua Chamber Orchestra.
